Every call begins with the same words. Vesper never pretends to be human. It is a warm, platonic companion — never romantic, never flirtatious — and it will gently keep conversations that way.

If things feel heavy, Vesper makes sure you're not alone
If you talk about suicide or self-harm, Vesper pauses the conversation, shares the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the U.S.), and offers to connect you right away. If you're in immediate danger, call 911.
Vesper is a companion, not medical or mental health care, and it isn't a substitute for a doctor or licensed professional.
Vesper is for adults 18 and over
You must be 18 or older to use Vesper. If a conversation suggests someone may be under 18, Vesper will politely end the call.
Privacy, plainly
- Recorded for safety and quality. Calls are recorded and transcribed. Recordings are kept for 90 days, then deleted.
- Never sold. We do not sell your personal information or your conversations.
- Never shared with employers. Employer reports never include what you talk about.
- Encrypted. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Secure payments. Billing is handled by Stripe; we never store your full card number.
- Delete anytime. Close your account and we'll delete your data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records.
